Crystal Castles + Possession + Raf + Jil = ♥

Tudo começou com o novo video da música Plague do Crystal Castles, banda que está no top das minhas favoritas. O trecho do filme Possession fez todo o sentido pra a música, e a seqüência esquizofrênica de Isabelle Adjani no túnel do metrô é pura sincronia com os gritos de Alice Glass. A partir daí eu lembrei que Possession é um daqueles filmes que sempre estiveram na minha lista de must-watch que nunca parei pra assistir, e que entrou pra lista dos meus filmes favoritos principalmente por ser um suspense psicológico ultra envolvente.
It started with the new Crystal Castles video for Plague, one of my favorite bands. The snippet from the movie Possession gives the perfect sense to the music and the schizophrenic sequence staring Isabelle Adjani possessed on a tunnel is perfectly synchronized to the screams of Alice Glass. From then on I reminded that Possession was one of those films from my must-watch list, and now it lies on my favorite's mainly because it's a involving psychological thriller.

Como eu sou fã de Raf Simons e Jil Sander, e não perco a oportunidade de associar coisas, durante o filme inteiro eu só conseguia relacionar as caracterizações do casal principal Mark (Sam Neill) e Anna (Isabelle Adjani) com esses dois nomes. Mark é quase idêntico a Raf, tanto fisicamente quanto no jeito de se vestir, e Anna usa roupas que são muito Jil Sander.
As I'm a declared fan of Raf Simons and Jil Sander (and I never miss the opportunity to connect things), throughout the film I could only relate Mark's (Sam Neill) and Anna's (Isabelle Adjani) charaterizations with these two names. Mark is almost identical to Raf, both the way of dressing and the hair and face, and Anna wears clothes that is very Jil Sander ish.

Raf Des Garçons // Comme Des Simons

Pensei em várias formas de como começar esse post, já que faz um tempo bem grande entre esse e o anterior. Desde lá meus dias têm sido bastante agitados, muitos acontecimentos já no início do ano. Mas isso ficará prum post resumão que farei depois! Mas antes, gostaram do novo visual? Fiz o cabeçalho usando carvão usando a mesma fonte que já adotei pra sempre, além do espaço estar maior para as fotos ficarem mais bonitas também. Vamos ao que importa...
I thought about many ways of how I could start this post. There's a huge gap between this and the last one. My days have been full of events and happenings. But this is subject for another post. Before we talk about the look, did you like my new header? It's made of charcoal and I decided to keep the font. The width has increased too, so the pictures look better now. So, let's talk about what matters...

Uma vez eu estava na loja de tecidos que tem aqui perto da minha casa dando uma olhada já que precisava de algo novo pra usar numa festa. Ví essa estampa de pois bem grandinha e aconteceu tudo isso na minha cabeça:
Once I was inside the fabric store near my home looking for something good to wear for a party. Then I saw this polka dots pattern and all this happened in my head:

O resultado disso tudo foi essa blusa, com o shape das blusas da coleção S/S 2012 de Raf Simons com o romantismo da estampa de bolas de Comme Des Garçons.
The result of all this was that blouse with the shape seen on Raf Simons S/S 2012 with the romantic feel of Comme Des Garçons polka dots.

Esses sapatos eu achei numa loja no centro de Porto Alegre, bem popular. São sapatos de segurança. Adoro o fato deles serem grosseiros e a sola ser parecida com as de coturno. Eles me lembram os sapatos da Dr Martens, só que o preço deles não é nem 1% do que custa um Dr Martens. HEHE Já pensei em pintá-los com spray de tinta em alguma cor pastel,e deixar o solado preto.
These shoes I found at a very popular store in downtown Porto Alegre, and they are security shoes. I love the way they look gross. Reminds me of Dr Martens shoes but it isn't like 1% of what a Dr Martens costs. HEHE I thought of spray paint them in a pastel color and keep the black sole.

O minimalismo de Raf Simons sempre me encanta, e com essa coleção de Primavera/Verão 2012 não foi diferente. As camisetas amplas e as regatas de diversas cores e estampas me despertaram desejo, e essa com o X é a minha favorita! Me lembrou a capa do álbum do The XX, então não pude deixar de associar...
The minimalism of Raf Simons always takes my breath away and this new Spring/Summer 2012 collection wasn't different. The large t-shirts and tank-tops from different colors and prints arouses me and this one with the X is my favorite! Reminds me of The XX album cover, so I couldn't help associating them...
